Motonosumi Shrine

Motonosumi Shrine (元乃隅神社) is a beautiful shrine located in northern Yamaguchi Prefecture along the coast of the Sea of Japan.

The shrine was chosen by CNN as one of the “31 Most Beautiful Places in Japan,” this extraordinary shrine is located on the edge of a sheer cliffside.
And there 123 torii gates that are lined up here along this sheer cliffside. Which is the reason why this shrine gains popularity in the recent years – due to its photogenic view.
The view of the blue skies, the green of the plants, the red gates in the center, and the blue ocean is what makes a great photo you’ll definitely want to capture.
