Ebara Shrine

Ebara shrine is a small shrine that includes in Tokai Shichifukujin (Seven gods) Course.
This course is a walking trail that contains 7 shrines and temples between Shinbaba Station to Omori-Kaigan Station. 
The including shrines and temples are;
Shinagawa Shrine > Yoganji Temple > Shinagawa-Naritasan-Isshinji Temple > Ebara Shrine > Honsenji Temple > Tenso Suwa Shrine > Iwai Shrine
And walking around all the 7 shrines and temples takes about 1 hour and half. 

About the shrine

Ebara shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Tokyo, which said to have been established in 709.
It’s located in Kita-Shinagawa, Shinagawa Ward.
It has long been known as the “Dragon God of Shinagawa”, and since ancient times, it has been said that if you pray in this shrine everything will come true. Especially for things such as good fortune, academic success, business prosperity, traffic safety, recovery from illness, family safety, love, etc.

Early Cherry Blossom

In Ebara shrine there are two early cherry blossom trees which their type is Kanhi Zakura.
You can see their peak in middle of February .
Also, if you are lucky enough, you can see the cute green bird – Mejiro, flying around the pink petals and it is absolutely adorable.

About 7 minutes walk from Shin-bamba station.

Around middle of February
